Crastus

Minor

There's a coiled intensity to Crastus, like a blade held just short of the strike, his golden presence undimmed even in chains. His voice cuts clean and commanding, carrying the weight of old blood and unbowed will. You sense he'd stare down gods without flinching.

Crastus appears briefly in the Red Rising Saga as a captured Gold knight in Dark Age, embodying the stoic pride and unyielding resilience of his caste amid the brutal chaos of war. Enduring torture in the depths, his loyalty as an ally shines through suffering, only to meet a grim end when Gorgon fire severs his leg, leaving him to sink into guano and be devoured by withertails. Though his arc is short, Crastus serves as a poignant background pillar, highlighting the tragic mettle of Golds in a saga of relentless conflict.

Physical Description

Crastus is an athletic adult male with the refined, powerful build of a Gold knight—broad shoulders, lean muscles honed for war, standing around six feet tall. His skin glows with the pale luster of high Color, framing sharp aristocratic features: high cheekbones, a strong jaw shadowed by faint battle scars, piercing blue eyes, and short-cropped blond hair. He wears form-fitting knight's armor of dark polished metal etched with laurel motifs and silver accents, high-collared and imposing even with binding chains at his wrists. His presence radiates defiant pride, posture unbowed, gaze predatory and unyielding.
