Bridge of the Vanguard appears in Red Rising.

Bridge of the Vanguard begins as a strategic chokepoint on Mars in Golden Son, where Darrow’s forces first seize the span to cut off the Sovereign’s reinforcements. Across later volumes the bridge transforms from a tactical asset into a mythic symbol of rebellion, repeatedly changing hands as the Rising’s war escalates from planetary skirmishes to solar-system-wide conflict. Its repeated destruction and reconstruction mirror the Rising’s own cycles of defeat and resurgence, culminating in its role as the final battleground where the fate of the Republic is decided.
