The Corridors of the Pax emerge in Golden Son as the labyrinthine spine of the Society’s most powerful dreadnought, a gilded artery of command decks, training arenas, and hidden passageways that mirror the shifting loyalties of its crew. Across the series the ship’s corridors transform from a symbol of Gold supremacy into a contested battleground where rebels, loyalists, and spies alike maneuver for control. By the later books the once-impenetrable hallways have become the stage for assassinations, mutinies, and daring rescues, their very architecture reflecting the fracturing Pax itself.
