The Enemy Armada first appears in Golden Son as the looming threat of the Society's naval might, a vast fleet of Gold warships that embodies the oppressive hierarchy Darrow seeks to dismantle. Across the series, it evolves from a monolithic symbol of tyranny into a fractured coalition of rival houses and factions, its internal divisions exploited by the Rising.
