Bregalad

Minor

Quickbeam sways gently, his grey-green locks whispering like leaves in a breeze, voice ringing clear and high like distant bells through the forest. There's a lightness to him among his kin, as if the weight of ages hasn't yet bent his spirit. You feel the forest's joy in his every bend and stretch.

Bregalad, or Quickbeam, emerges in The Two Towers as a youthful Ent distinguished by his higher, clearer voice and rowan-like grace, embodying the quicker, more emotional spirit among his ancient kin. Amid the Ents' profound sorrow over felled trees, he participates eagerly in the Entmoot and leads the charge in the furious assault on Isengard, channeling the swift wrath of the Huorns. Though his role is confined to this pivotal moment, Bregalad symbolizes the awakening fury of nature against Saruman's industrialization, marking a rare glimpse of impetuous vigor in the typically deliberate Ents.

Physical Description

Tall and slender like a rowan tree, Bregalad has smooth shining skin on his clean-limbed arms and legs, with grey-green hair flowing softly. His ruddy lips curve in thoughtful expression, and his long-fingered shapely arms reach with flexible grace. He sways gently like a tree in the wind, his form both ancient and lithe. A younger Ent, his presence radiates a resonant clarity amid the woods.
