Boromir's Horn

item

Large curving horn tipped with silver at both ends. Worn on a leather baldric over a rich fur-lined cloak. Battle-worn from Boromir's long journey.

Boromir's Horn, a mighty great wild-ox horn tipped and bound with silver, serves as an iconic emblem of the warrior from Gondor, worn proudly by Boromir on his perilous journey to Rivendell. In the early stages of the quest, it symbolizes his heritage and resolve amid the Fellowship's trials. Its tragic fate unfolds when it is cloven in two during Boromir's final stand against orcs, carried broken by the Anduin River to Minas Tirith, where Denethor recognizes it as a harrowing omen of his son's death.
