Peace-loving ancient people who originated in the upper Anduin vales, migrated westward, and settled in the Shire, dividing into Harfoots, Stoors, and Fallohides. They live idyllic lives marked by six daily meals, pipe-weed cultivation, smial dwellings, and minimal governance under a Thain and Mayor, growing isolated from the wider world.
