Sandviper Goldsign

Sandviper Goldsigns first appear in Blackflame as living acid-green Remnants that coil around the arms of Sandviper warriors, hissing and writhing in sync with their hosts’ emotions. Across the series these miniature serpents evolve from simple battle ornaments into living badges of rank and power within the Sandviper sect, their size, color intensity, and venom potency reflecting the advancement of the wearer. By later books they are treated almost like sacred beasts in their own right—capable of limited independent action, feeding on ambient madra, and even surviving their host’s death long enough to seek a new partner.
