By The Well of Ascension, they evolve into a more grotesque revelation: massive, goopy amorphous scavengers akin to kandra, piecing together random bones to form skeletons while lurking in mists to sniff out and consume trash and carrion. This shift unveils their true nature as degraded cousins of the kandra, deepening the world's lore on ancient hemalurgic experiments.
