The water-wraith appears first as a wary, unsettling presence, her cold hands and dark eyes marking her as a creature apart. During the Tithe, Feyre’s unexpected generosity earns her gratitude, and the wraith later returns that kindness when Feyre needs help. Their brief exchange reveals a bond built on compassion across the divide between High Fae and lesser faeries.

Description

Slender and gray-skinned, she has an amphibious elegance, her silver-mottled skin catching the light with an iridescent shimmer. Long, dark hair hangs damp around a sharply angled face, where enormous coal-black eyes give her an eerie, pond-deep stare. Delicate gills flare beneath her ears, and razor-sharp, pike-like teeth show when her lips part. Her fingers are webbed, and her mottled gray feet are webbed and clawed; her touch is cold and clammy.
