The Weaver is an ancient, blind creature who keeps a cottage and a hoard of treasures, sensing when anything in her domain has been disturbed. Feyre enters that dangerous, uncanny world in search of an object belonging to Rhysand, and the Weaver’s attention turns the encounter into a tense test of nerve. Though she appears as a woman at a spinning wheel, her ruined eyes, jagged teeth, and thorn-sharp spindle reveal the menace beneath that guise. She remains a powerful and unsettling presence, governed by her own rules and appetite for what enters her wood.
Description
The Weaver is an ancient, slender female figure with gray, deeply wrinkled skin and thick onyx hair falling to her waist. Her blind eyes are described as rotting black pits, set above jagged, broken teeth; in the dimness, her face is both ruined and strangely composed. Milk-white hands work deftly at an ancient spinning wheel, beside a thorn-sharp spindle. She wears a simple, elegant gray gown that catches the forest gloom with a faint sparkle, and carries herself with eerie, listening stillness.
