The Mural begins in A Court of Thorns and Roses as a vast, luminous chronicle of Prythian’s creation, painted beside the study windows of the Spring Court manor. Across the series it remains a silent witness to pivotal revelations—its depiction of the Cauldron and the Courts serving as both historical record and symbolic backdrop for the growing conflict between mortal and faerie realms. Though its physical presence is limited to the first book, the mural’s imagery echoes thematically in later volumes as characters confront the very histories and prophecies it illustrates.
