His size alone commands attention—a man whose physical presence suggests someone accustomed to using strength to maintain order. His gaze carries the weight of authority earned through physical dominance rather than persuasion.

Ivan Parfenovich serves as kolkhoz chairman across two appearances, first demonstrating his reputation for using his fists on kolkhoz members, then showing his indifferent attitude toward Sasha. His large, stocky frame and willingness to employ physical force mark him as a figure of rural authority who rules through strength rather than administrative skill.
Description
A large, stocky man whose powerful build reflects years of physical labor and authority. His frame is that of someone built for work in the fields, with strong hands and broad shoulders that suggest he could enforce his will through physical means. His face shows the weathered texture of outdoor work, and his clothing is practical and functional, suited to kolkhoz management. There's an imposing quality to his presence that speaks to someone accustomed to being obeyed.
