Николай Иванович Ежов

Also known as Ежов, Nikolai Ivanovich Yezhov

Nikolai Yezhov is a diminutive man of short stature, nearly dwarf-like in build, with striking violet eyes that can turn coldly indifferent during official reports. He carries himself with external modesty while holding a fountain pen in his breast pocket, projecting the image of a precise and unassuming Soviet functionary from the late 1920s. His compact frame and violet gaze give him a memorable, almost intense presence despite his small size.
