Arnis has the quiet, open presence of a boy scarcely into his teens, with a calmness that makes him seem older than his years. A possible small mark on his left cheek is only faintly suggested, leaving his face memorable for its composure rather than any grand display.

Arnis is a twelve- or thirteen-year-old boy from Tuan, a peer of Alik. The collection presents him as a casualty of the rebels’ fighting, his calm face and the marks of a laser wound making his brief appearance especially poignant. His possible mole on the left cheek remains uncertain in the text, while his youth and stillness are unmistakable.
Description
Arnis is a boy of about twelve or thirteen, with a calm face. The text does not specify his build, skin tone, hair, eyes, or clothing; it suggests he may have a mole on his left cheek. A red laser burn on his chest and a burned arm are also noted, though a non-graphic portrait can focus on his youthful, composed appearance.
