The divine presence here is less a face than an impossible image: a delicate stone hand bearing a world of black and mirrors above eternal fire. In the temple’s blinding whiteness, the voice seems to come from everywhere—and to promise no easy answers.

In the Temple, God is given a startling image: a slender stone hand holding aloft a vast sphere of black and mirrored tiles over a chasm of fire. A voice speaks from the immaculate white walls, lending the sacred space an authority that is both impersonal and immense. Elsewhere, God remains a name people invoke and a question they cannot settle, rather than a character with a human life or arc.
Description
God is represented by a slender stone hand supporting a colossal spherical structure made of black and mirrored squares. The sphere hangs above an abyss of eternal fire, its shifting reflective surfaces set against the Temple’s pristine, almost inhumanly white walls. No face or complete body is shown; the divine presence is conveyed through monumental scale, stark contrast, and a disembodied voice.
