He carries the careful composure of a scientist speaking before the highest ranks of government, but relief softens the formality. In his account, the extraordinary is approached not with wonder but with the measured seriousness of a result finally tested.

As director of the Institute of Extraterrestrial Technologies, he reports the results of experiments with alien devices, bacteria, and bananas to the Russian Security Council. His relief suggests the burden of translating the uncanny into something a government can evaluate and use. Beyond that single appearance, the text leaves his personal history and fate unstated.
Description
The director is presented as a scientist in a formal government setting, speaking with the controlled bearing of a senior researcher. His relief is the only clearly conveyed personal impression, lending warmth to an otherwise official presence. The text does not describe his age, build, face, hair, eyes, coloring, or attire, so these remain unspecified.
