By the Russian stove, this shaggy elder seems entirely at home beside the fire, his bare, hairy foot stirring the coals as casually as another person might shift a log. His ease and steady storytelling give him the settled authority of someone who has seen—and heard—plenty.

Gena is the senior domovoy in the barracks, an elderly, shaggy figure who lies beside the Russian stove and stirs its coals with a bare foot. Untroubled by the fire, he tells stories with the assured ease of a respected elder. The brief account presents him as a leader in the barracks, with no further arc described.
Description
Gena is an elderly male domovoy with a shaggy appearance and thick body hair, especially noticeable on his bare feet. He is shown lounging near a Russian stove, using one bare foot to stir the coals. His face, skin tone, hair color, eyes, build beyond his shaggy look, and clothing are not specified; his relaxed, confident manner is his clearest distinguishing impression.
