Grag is difficult to mistake for human: his lidless, protruding eyes and restless forked tongue give every pause an alert, uncanny quality. Even seated high on a swiveling chair, knees tucked close and a ray gun at hand, he seems poised to notice everything.

Grag serves the embassy as a secretary and guard, combining an official’s station with the readiness of an armed watchman. His long, thin limbs, animated facial scales, and ever-trembling forked tongue make him an unmistakably alien presence. The text offers no further account of his personal history or fate.
Description
Grag has a narrow, scaled jaw, bulging eyes without lids, and a slim forked tongue that trembles visibly. Small scales on his forehead move, giving his face a shifting, alert quality. His limbs are long and thin, with notably slender knees and arms; when seated, he draws his knees almost up to his chin on a high swivel chair. A ray gun rests across his knees, while his clothing and coloring are not specified.
