Created from a piece of active protoplasm, Okki is a twelve-year-old android who takes the form of a boy. He is adopted by Karl, but his nature remains that of a prankish, roaming rascal, full of youthful mischief and movement. His life begins not with an ordinary birth but with an artificial making, giving his boyish spirit an unusual origin.
