He is known only at the edge of someone else’s recollection, a name tied to the close quarters and small frictions of communal life. The lack of a clear portrait leaves him more like a shadow in the kitchen than a fully seen presence.

Prokhor Kuzmich is recalled as a neighbor from Semyon Ivanovich’s youthful days in a Soviet communal apartment. His place in the memory is bound to a kitchen incident involving a handful of nails dumped into his soup, but the text gives no further account of his life or appearance.
Description
The text provides no physical description of Prokhor Kuzmich. His age, build, coloring, face, hair, eyes, clothing, and manner are all unspecified, so a visual portrayal should remain deliberately neutral.
