Sergey Leonidov is a science-fiction writer whose public manner is misanthropic, even as he remains a good-hearted romantic underneath. While returning from a shop with a bag of sausage and vodka, he carries a gas pistol in his pocket. When children need help at VDNKh, he gives first aid, revealing the compassion that his gruff exterior tends to conceal.
