The old doctor seems to bring a pocket of gentleness with him: grey-haired, quiet, and wreathed in the fragrant smoke of his herbal pipe. There is a lived-in kindness about him, softened by the steady composure of someone who has seen much.

Once a regimental physician and a friend of Troev’s parents, the old doctor belongs to Troev’s memories as a figure of care and familiarity. His pipe and the scent of medicinal herbs mark his presence, a small comfort in a brutal world. In Troev’s recollection, he is executed against a brick wall, leaving the memory of his quiet humanity sharply etched.
Description
He is an elderly man with grey hair and the softened, timeworn look of a seasoned physician. His most distinctive accessory is a pipe, which he keeps smoking with fragrant herbs; their medicinal scent lingers around him. No specific clothing, eye color, or build is given, so his appearance remains otherwise understated. His manner feels calm and kindly, shaped by years of tending to others.
