Captain Yan Troev has the brittle stillness of a man who has been awake too long, his glassy eyes seeming to look through the room rather than at it. Beneath the disciplined lines of his uniform, exhaustion clings to him like a second skin, and every silence feels crowded with something he cannot quite escape.

A Landing Corps officer, Troev is introduced already worn down, relying on powerful sedatives and caught in a recurring lucid dream haunted by the people he executed. In that dream his rigid combat gear gives way to a loose silver cape and soft moccasins, while the beam gun remains an uneasy emblem of the soldier he cannot leave behind. His struggle is defined by the collision between military duty and the burden of remembered violence, leaving him suspended between waking exhaustion and a dream world that will not let him rest.
Description
Troev wears the close-fitting combat suit and boots of a Landing Corps officer, with the functional, disciplined silhouette of a career soldier. His face looks drained, and his glassy eyes carry the unmistakable blur of heavy sedation and sleeplessness. A plasma-torch cylinder is among his distinctive equipment, while his posture suggests someone forcing himself to remain composed through sheer habit. In his dreamlike guise, he appears in a loose cape of silver fabric and soft moccasins, carrying a beam gun.
