The Beckitts carry the polished promise of people who have made fitness and good taste part of their public face. Beneath that composed surface, their lean, hungry look gives them a sharper, faintly unsettling edge.

The Beckitts appear as a couple whose professional, fitness-minded image is tied to Linda Randall’s employment. Their most memorable impression is their lean, hungry cast of face, with a more savage leanness apparent when they are naked. The book supplies little further personal history or development for them.
Description
The Beckitts are a couple with lean physiques and lean, hungry faces, their appearance suggesting the sleek polish of fitness-minded professionals. When naked, they are described as lean and savage-looking. The text does not specify their skin tones, hair, eyes, facial details, or usual clothing, so these cannot be reliably filled in.
