Iakin Nefud serves as a guard captain in the Harkonnen household, where he carries out orders with visible nervousness and deference. Semuta leaves its dull trace in his eyes and demeanor, while fear can break through the narcotic haze in sweat and pallor. He is implicated in the violent intrigues surrounding the fall of House Atreides, and his strained composure reflects the danger and corruption of the world he serves.
Description
Nefud has yellow hair, green eyes, and a flat, pale face that gives him an oddly aquatic, water-creature quality. Fine lines radiate from his thick-lipped mouth, while his jaw muscles form a tense, scissors-like edge that seems ready to twitch. A gas mask hangs at his neck; his expression often appears dulled by semuta, with fear showing through as perspiration and pallor. His guarded, deferential bearing is undercut by a persistent nervousness.
