Britney Proskurina begins as a fleeting, fur-bikini-clad barbarian ally in Book 4, her spike-covered stick swinging through the Gate of the Feral Gods before she vanishes back into the chaos. By Book 5 she re-emerges as a fully realized Ukrainian warrior whose oversized, butterfly-stuffed jacket and perpetual scowl belie a surprising capacity for protective hugs and sudden, crushing affection. Across the two books her arc shifts from disposable muscle to a gruff, touch-starved survivor whose physical power is matched by an awkward, almost shy tenderness toward her companions.
Description
Dark-haired woman, barbarian theme, fur bikini armor A Ukrainian barbarian woman with fair skin and intense eyes set in a face locked into a perpetual scowl with her signature resting I-hate-you-and-everybody expression that makes her seem constantly grumpy and unapproachable. She has a robust muscular build suited to a battle-hardened fighter which she keeps mostly hidden beneath an oversized itchy fur-covered jacket entirely constructed from stuffed slate butterflies giving her a fuzzy eccentric silhouette. She moves with clear discomfort often huddled protectively or nervously rubbing her arms though she is capable of sudden shuffling steps forward to deliver tight powerful embraces to her companions.
