His transformation turns the once-charismatic showman into a sprawling, parasitic plant whose roots and mold spores dominate the circus arena, yet his consciousness remains disturbingly intact. Through telepathic contact forged by Carl’s poisoned blood, Grimaldi becomes both a grotesque antagonist and an unwilling confidant, his mind forever tethered to the crawler who both doomed and preserved him.
