Psamathe—known to the crawlers as Samantha—begins as a macabre, latex sex-doll head modeled after a half-naiad and hired as Carl’s withering-spirit trainer in Book 4. By Book 5 she has become a fully autonomous, indestructible animated head whose sharp fangs and rolling mobility let her fight, bite, and survive explosions alongside the party. In Book 8 she evolves further into a flamboyant base decorator and battlefield ally, rolling through stables and dragging allies to safety while her loyalties and affections grow increasingly tangled with Carl and Princess Donut.

Description

A glass statue depicting a robed, human-bodied half-naiad woman. She has large eyes, a small nose, full lips, sharp teeth, and gills on her neck; she has no horns. After the statue shatters, its mostly intact head has a chipped chin. A reanimated, severed sex-doll head with a latex-like surface, long white or bone-colored hair, a wide mouth with flexible latex fangs, tattoos swirling over her skin, and a scar on her chin. The neck ends in a jagged opening. She can roll and bite; her hair and surface are often dirty or smeared with mud, blood, or gore. Withered floating spirit consisting of a head and neck attachment, pale and translucent, constantly in motion rolling or drifting through the air.
