Pustule

Minor

The air thickens with rot as she looms near, her bubbling cheek-sore weeping a vile trail that stains everything it touches. There's a greasy menace in her yellowed grin, like she's sizing you up for the butcher's block. You can't help but wonder what foul deals lurk behind that unicorn tee.

Pustule, the rotting hobgoblin merchant, bursts onto the scene in Book 2 as a fleeting emblem of the dungeon's grotesque underbelly, peddling explosives and detonators to desperate crawlers like Carl with wretched opportunism. Her single, stench-filled encounter highlights the crawl's grim commerce, where even the most repulsive denizens profit from suffering. Absent from later books, Pustule remains a brief but unforgettable snapshot of the dungeon's casual horrors, underscoring the transient alliances formed in the face of doom.

Physical Description

Towering at six feet, this large muscular hobgoblin female has rough greenish-gray skin stretched over a powerful frame, her face a goblinish nightmare dominated by a wide flat nose, small beady yellow eyes, and jagged yellowed teeth. An open sore on her cheek constantly bubbles with black and green ooze, trickling down her face, over her shoulder, and staining her threadbare pink graphic t-shirt emblazoned with a unicorn wearing sunglasses. She smells overwhelmingly of rot and sickness, her scraggly black hair tied back in a messy knot, clad in ragged pants and battered boots, moving with a hunched, predatory swagger.
