The Shade Gnoll Riot Forces emerge as minor dungeon fodder in a single chaotic incursion, dropping from ceiling hatches as armored hyena-like shock troops armed with pulse rifles and bizarre diver flippers. These background antagonists serve as a brief but intense wave of opposition, embodying the dungeon's twisted militarized wildlife. They vanish as quickly as they appear, leaving only the echo of their snarls in the crawl's relentless grind.
Description
Muscular adult males with hyena-like heads—elongated snouts, sharp fangs, tufted ears, and piercing eyes set in shadowy, ethereal shade fur that shifts like smoke. Their bulky plastic-like body armor encases powerful builds, exposing only the snarling heads adorned with rank insignias on shoulders. Pulse rifles hang over broad shoulders, wrist scanners bulge like oversized watches, large old-school diver flippers dangle from waists, paired with heavy combat boots. They move with a hunched, predatory prowl, exuding feral menace.
