Widget the Grease Gremlin bursts onto the scene in the trainyard chapter, a tiny furry goblin-shaped mechanic dragging his massive wrench as he scrambles aboard the chaotic locomotive. Allied briefly with Carl's crew, he embodies the dungeon's absurd helper NPCs, fixing what he can in the nick of time amid Grull threats and portal antics. Description
This wiry gremlin measures about three feet tall, his goblin-like frame entirely cloaked in coarse black bristly hair that serves as natural armor and attire. A battered railroad cap sits tilted on his narrow head, shading sharp beady eyes that dart with mechanical focus, above a snoutish face with jagged teeth. His oversized toolbelt cinches his slim waist, dominated by a massive wrench that hefts like an extension of his clawed hands. He moves with scrambling urgency, exuding a gritty, inventive presence amid oil and sparks.
