Hungry Eyes Village debuts in book 8 of the Dungeon Crawler Carl series as a sprawling, neon-drenched settlement that shifts the dungeon's tone toward retro-futuristic urban chaos. Populated predominantly by gremlin NPCs, the town radiates outward in a web of streets bathed in pink-teal-purple cyberpunk lighting, complete with gaudy temples, flashing shops, and lively street vendors hawking food and souvenirs. Its introduction underscores the escalating scale and thematic variety of later floors, transforming what might have been a simple waypoint into a vibrant, immersive hub pulsing with 1980s-inspired excess.
