Registration Arena
Giant arena used for registration and staging alongside a tiny Lysol-scented booth with wall TV, coin slot, sticky floor, and portal door for class selection.
The Registration Arena first appears in Book 5 as the massive staging ground where crawlers are funneled after the Butcher’s Masquerade, its cavernous floor dominated by a single, Lysol-scented kiosk that houses the class-selection portal. Over the course of the series the arena evolves from a utilitarian checkpoint into a symbolic crossroads, its portal door serving as the literal threshold between the crawl’s brutal mid-game and the even deadlier endgame that follows. By the time Carl and Princess Donut step through that sticky-floored booth, the arena has already become shorthand for every life-altering choice the dungeon forces upon its participants.
