Water Quadrant

ocean

The Water Quadrant is a deep, dark ocean with blue to green-hued waters depending on depth, strong suction currents at the base, and layers of enormous sentinel-like jellyfish floating throughout. The rocky seafloor at 1500m sits at the bottom of the protective bubble and features a submarine trapped in a hole acting as a pump. It is populated by terrifying creatures including a circling mountain-sized sharktopus known as Lusca.

The Water Quadrant debuts in Book 4 as a nightmarish oceanic realm within the dungeon, characterized by its abyssal depths, treacherous suction currents, and colossal sentinel jellyfish guarding layers of peril. At its heart lies a rocky seafloor at 1500 meters, pierced by a submarine-pump trapped in a chasm, while the monstrous Lusca—a mountain-sized sharktopus—circles ominously as the ultimate predator. This quadrant tests crawlers with its claustrophobic underwater horrors, marking a pivotal escalation in environmental dread and marking the dungeon's expansion into vast, unforgiving aquatic biomes.
