The Control Sigil first manifests on the third floor as a deceptively simple floor circle—three to four feet across, ringed with alien script and crowned by a pulsing blue triangle. Though initially presented as a static magical construct, its latent power to seize and redirect the dungeon’s own systems becomes the fulcrum upon which Carl and Princess Donut’s rebellion turns. Across subsequent floors the sigil’s reach expands from localized traps to entire level overrides, transforming from a curiosity into the linchpin of the crawler insurgency.
