As Carl and Princess Donut progress through the dungeon's increasingly complex levels, the spell evolves from a basic light source into a tactical tool that can be intensified and controlled with greater precision. Its development mirrors the crawlers' own growth, becoming more sophisticated as they face darker, more dangerous environments and increasingly complex magical challenges.
