Troglodyte Pygmy
creature3ft tall (pygmies) to human-sized lizards, Komodo upper body, kangaroo legs, loincloths/clubs; venom fangs/tongues, levels 2-4.
The Troglodyte Pygmy debuts in the inaugural book of Dungeon Crawler Carl as one of the dungeon's earliest and most numerous threats, embodying the chaotic wildlife of the lower floors. These 3-foot-tall lizard hybrids combine Komodo-dragon torsos with powerful kangaroo legs, wielding crude clubs while delivering venom through fanged tongues. Their level 2-4 range positions them as introductory foes that force crawlers to adapt quickly to the system's brutal ecology. Though later books expand the dungeon's scope, the pygmies remain emblematic of the series' blend of absurd biology and lethal gameplay mechanics.
