Little Chad cowers with eyes too wide for his thin face, his small frame shaking like a leaf in the raiders' shadow, voice a whisper choked with terror. The air around him tastes of salt tears and innocence fraying at the edges.

Chad appears as a tragic 11-year-old boy in a raided village, his thin scared form the heartbreaking face of the Forged horrors sweeping the Duchies. Throat slit by a Raider in a moment of brutal violence, his death fuels the narrative's outrage against the invaders. Brief and devastating, he symbolizes the countless innocents lost to war's cruelty.
