Rowd
- Minor
- First seen · Book 1 · Ch. 18
He slithers through the shadows of service like a toad in the underbrush, his bulging eyes missing nothing yet revealing little. There's a slick unease in his presence, as if his skin weeps secrets he dare not voice. You wonder what poisons lurk in the heart of one who serves so quietly.

Rowd began as Prince Regal's unctuous valet, a toadish figure skulking in the background of Buckkeep's intrigues with his sly observations and menial duties. His arc ended abruptly when he fell victim to poisoning, a casualty in the web of betrayals surrounding the royal court. Though minor, his death underscored the lethal undercurrents of loyalty and suspicion that threatened Fitz and the king's household.
