Farseer Trilogy · Character
Sig
- Minor
- First seen · Book 1 · Ch. 7
He stands like a weathered oak amid the castle stones, his soldier's frame radiating quiet readiness. The faint scar of duty etches his gaze, sharp as a drawn blade. There's a dependable solidity to him, the kind that holds the line when whispers turn to shouts.

Sig appears briefly as a Buckkeep guard, a minor soldier whose presence underscores the vigilance—or lack thereof—in the fortress's defenses. In the backdrop of the story's early intrigues, he represents the rank-and-file loyalists who patrol the halls where FitzChivalry navigates his hidden life. Unchanged and unremarked upon further, he fades into the tapestry of castle life, a silent pillar amid rising threats.
