The Green Bone Saga · Character
Jerald

- First seen · Book 1 · Ch. 6
There's something lightweight about him, the kind of charm that doesn't quite reach the eyes. An Espenian naval background gives him a certain polish, but it sits on the surface. You get the sense he's already planning his next move, his next school, his next chapter.

Jerald was Shae's former boyfriend, a Shotarian-Espenian naval brat stationed on Euman Island with plans to attend graduate school. Described as shallow, he lived briefly in Lybon, Stepenland after their relationship. His presence in the story is minimal, serving mainly as a point of reference for Shae's past.
Description
A young adult male of Shotarian-Espenian heritage with a clean-cut, polished appearance. His build is average, his features unremarkable but neat. He wears casual clothing or attire reflecting his naval background, carrying himself with the easy confidence of someone whose future plans are already mapped out. Nothing about him suggests depth or lasting attachment.
