Admiral McGregor is mentioned only in passing as the NAVPER officer who denied Jacob access to ships pending court-martial. His role represents the institutional machinery of military justice, making decisions that affect careers and futures from behind a desk rather than on a battlefield.
Description
Admiral McGregor is a man in naval uniform associated with NAVPER, carrying the weight of administrative authority. His presence suggests someone who deals in regulations and personnel matters rather than combat operations.
