Nurse Hensley worked as a civilian nurse in the morgue facility, where her genuine compassion for those who had lost loved ones marked her as someone who maintained her humanity despite working among the dead. Her small act of pressing a hidden button revealed both her knowledge of the facility and her willingness to help.
