Buckbeak

Supporting

His stormy gray coat gleams with wild majesty, orange eyes fierce and unblinking. The steel beak snaps with proud menace, talons scraping like promises of flight. Bow to him, or feel the thunder of his disdain.

Buckbeak, the majestic hippogriff, debuts in *Prisoner of Azkaban* as Hagrid's beloved pet, captivating Harry with his first flight before tragedy strikes due to Draco's insolence, leading to a death sentence. Dramatically rescued by Harry and Hermione using the Time-Turner, he escapes execution and flies into hiding as 'Witherwings,' symbolizing loyalty and freedom. Though his role diminishes in later books, Buckbeak's survival underscores themes of injustice and the bond between magical creatures and their defenders across the series.

Brilliant orange eyes glow fiercely above a cruel steel beak and half-foot talons. Thick leather collar and chain accent his proud, predatory stance.
