Dennis Creevey arrives at Hogwarts as the smallest first-year, with mousy hair and a face peering from the enormous coat wrapped around him. His first impressions of the wizarding world are marked by irrepressible excitement, even when mishaps leave him soaked or shivering. He remains a vivid presence among the younger students, eager to see everything and close enough to the older Gryffindors to get swept up in their hurried school-day moments. His unguarded enthusiasm makes his brief appearances feel warmly memorable.
Description
Dennis is a tiny, small-framed child with mousy hair and a small face that seems especially slight above a bulky collar. The oversized moleskin coat he wears makes him look almost bundled out of sight; elsewhere, he appears in ordinary Hogwarts robes. His expression is bright and openly delighted, and his posture often seems eager to stretch toward whatever has caught his attention.
