Behind very thick glasses, his owlish face peers out with the quiet vigilance of someone who's seen countless midnight roads. There's a steadiness to him, like the rumble of the bus he commands, reliable yet faintly otherworldly. You sense stories in the lines around his magnified eyes.

Ernie Prang is the unassuming elderly driver of the Knight Bus, ferrying stranded wizards through stormy nights with expert calm. He picks up Harry after the Dementor attack on Privet Drive, navigating the wild vehicle through shrunken obstacles while chatting casually about Sirius Black. His brief role underscores the magical world's hidden safety nets, vanishing as quickly as he arrives.
Description
Elderly wizard of average build with an owlish face magnified by very thick glasses. Wrinkled skin and gray hair frame his peering eyes, giving him a perpetually watchful expression. Dressed in simple wizard robes, he sits poised at the wheel, exuding the quiet competence of long years on the road.
