Pigwidgeon is the tiny owl Sirius sends to Ron, a gift so small and energetic that Ron can hardly keep it quiet. The little bird becomes a faithful messenger, eagerly carrying letters and treats despite its tendency to make an enormous fuss. Ron’s exasperation at its noise never quite hides his affection. Pigwidgeon’s boundless devotion turns its miniature size into part of its charm.

Description

Pigwidgeon is a minute owl, small enough to sit in the palm of a hand. Soft gray feathers cover its compact body, and its tiny frame makes every hop and flutter seem outsized. It has bright, alert eyes and a small beak, with an eager, almost comically intense expression. Usually restless and fluffed with excitement, it projects a spirited presence far bigger than its size.
