Farrokh has the grounded air of a tradesman who trusts his hands and hard-won expertise more than grand displays of power. Glowing runes lend his blue-black skin an uncanny light, while his work clothes and crowded tool belt keep him reassuringly practical.

Farrokh is an expert in external magic, a hairless, blue-black-skinned man marked by glowing runes and equipped more like a working artisan than a conventional spellcaster. Jason encounters him sealing a hole in a brick wall with a magical barrier, and Farrokh later calls down through a narrow passage. In that brief exchange, he makes a small but memorable effort to learn how to pronounce Jason’s name correctly.
Description
Farrokh is stocky and hairless, with blue-black skin illuminated by glowing runes across his body. Around fifty years old, he dresses in loose coveralls and a workman’s cap, his clothes suited to practical labor rather than ceremony. A tool belt carries a jumble of magical and non-magical implements, giving him the look of a capable, hands-on specialist. His presence is focused and unpretentious.
