As a gold-ranker on the research expedition, Valetta watches Jason face danger while keeping her aura restrained, and eventually acts to rescue researchers when circumstances force her hand. Her detachment draws Miriam’s sharp rebuke, after which Valetta is made responsible for the research team’s safety and wellbeing. She remains a capable presence whose composure is tested by the consequences of standing apart.
Description
Valetta floats rather than stands, her lower half hidden in a dense, luminous cloud of silver lights that shimmers like a fantastical genie’s trailing form. She keeps her hands loosely clasped behind her back, giving her an air of casual composure. The silver glow is her defining visual feature, an otherworldly contrast to her poised, watchful presence.
